Terrence McGee BUF
That is the guy i'm talking about. He's a great returns man, and also gets tackles and INTs to make him worth taking.
By the way... strongly consider picking up Devin Hester if you can. Again, returns count for a lot in your league, and if he plays any meaningful WR this year he'll be a reasonably high scorer assuming he has a decent return year (which he will... please ... hope ... )
I'd definitely suggest one more RB for you, if you can, instead of some other backup. You will need a 3rd RB twice this year, and Dunn may or may not have a shot at it depending on his injuries... especially the first few weeks while he's out.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Oops...
It's probably not that big of a difference, really, though i'd have to see the site to actually tell the specific difference. You have higher points per return yard than we do (lower return yards per point rather) in Poly2 so I would assume he ranks higher than he does in ours (though you give higher points for tackles as well, so that might negate that advantage... not sure, depends on turnovers and how many return yards he gets compared to tackles.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Definitely not Peppers, only because he only makes 50 tackles a year or so...Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

How may sacks did he have last year on the line? 11? 13? Now he gets to back up and flow more.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Hey Slow, do you have anything saying Peppers will be a LB this season? I'm not doubting you, but I'm trying to find the story.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Either way, sacks is not what makes your player good. Tackles >>>>>sacks in Fantasy.
Points per tackle: 2
Points per sack: 3
Tackles per season, good MLB: 100
Sacks per season, record: 22.5
Just look at where Merriman gets drafted, and how many points he scores per year. Sack specialists give up way too many tackles to get the sacks, for them to be valuable in fantasy.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

I forget where I saw it. I thought it was nfl. If it was, I've lost it due to their changes.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

All I'm saying is, Peppers is only getting better.
He had 13 sacks, 53 solo tackles and 3 forced fumbles.
They're structuring their defense to play off his strength.
Someone explain to me his downside. I'll take the gamble.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

By all means, I think Julius Peppers is the best defensive player in football, and the best defensive end since Michael Strahan's prime (and maybe since Bruce Smith and Reggie White.)
He's just not good in Grandpa Troll's fantasy league. Simple math: a good MLB can record 100 solo tackles, 50 more what Peppers makes. In GT's league, those 50 solo tackles are worth 100 points. To make up for those 100 points, Peppers would need to record over 30 sacks, shattering the all-time record to pieces.
It's just not feasible to take a defensive lineman in that sort of fantasy setup, even if he's an unholy cross between Deacon Jones and Clark Kent."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known.
