Vernon Davis was a good pick. You really reached out into the stars with that Henderson pick though.

Vernon davis was the obvious pick, only good TE left. He probably doesn't care much about DEF (many people rate DEF only slightly higher than K on their boards) so is going for a sleeper. Deverry could do very well in the offense this year, he was worth playing for portions of last year, and now that Horn's gone he's got a starting job, so worth a 4th WR pick I'd say.

Henderson is definitely a bit of a reach. I was just reading up that Meachum is coming along a little more slowly than the Saints were hoping and Henderson has that 2nd WR spot. Like you said, he's a 4th WR and has a very favorable bye week compared to my other WRs and I do have some other sleepers down the list.

And being on the corner, you sometimes have to reach a bit. I'm sure that Henderson was gone by the time my spot came around again...

And also I think I know what DEF I want. The next one that will be picked is one that has some bye week conflicts with the rest of my team, so wasn't as high on them as I'd normally be.

Oh, and there is at least one good TE left (it was a toss up between him and Davis).

A few of those remaining are "acceptable" TEs, but (to me) there's a definitive break in TEs (especially in catch leagues) that falls at Davis. [To be fair, Witten falls below this break as well for me, but some consider him better than others.]

1. Gates
2. Shockey, Heap, Crumpler, Gonzalez, Winslow, Cooley, Davis
3. Witten, LJ Smith, Heath Miller, Dallas Clark, Ben Watson, Randy McMichaels
4. Others

Not necessarily in the order within the tier. Witten and LJ Smith could conceivably be moved up into a 2.5 tier, along with Davis. I presume he's who you're talking about (unless you like Watson Clark or McMichaels to have a stellar season, which is why i see them on the same tier). None of those however except for Davis do I consider in the same range as Heap/Crumpler/Shockey/Gonzalez though (and probably Cooley), no matter how you count things.
