I would love if this were a keeper league.

Your team value goes forward to the next season.

You end up with very rich clubs at the top battling it out and new teams starting from scratch and having to make smart moves to compete.

It would be very EPL, rather than the system they use now which is very NFL.

It's easy to get big team value at the start if that's all you're aiming for, high scoring at the same time is another thing.

Come mid to late-season we'll see if the extra value repays you enough.

Having said that you did (just) beat me last season using a similar strategy, but I think you made a better start then.

Hleb and Milner haven't been half bad. Mascherano is a waste so far, however. I replaced him for this gameweek.

I may have to spend some points on transfers at some point soon though.

edit: or play a wildcard... which is what I did for:

Boyce replaced by Scharner
Milner replaced by N'Zogbia
Mascherano replaced by Osman

I totally forgot about this, but forgetting to make transfers half the time seemed to work.
