Yes. Without a doubt.

Guthrie is (a distant to Dan Haren) second in the AL in ERA+ at 161 and leads the AL with a WHIP of 0.912. While Beckett is having a good year, his ERA+ is 130 and a WHIP of 1.137. Guthrie wins in this battle... but doesn't have nearly the same run support so in the W-L record, he looks far worse than he should be.
