      • I haven't read the article yet, but I'm predicting our dear Mr. Ford is ranked #32. Which might be a bit generous for him.

            • Read the list... I think you'll agree that those ranked 30th (Ralph Wilson), 31st (Tom Benson), and 32nd (Mike Brown) deserved to be there.

                • But then one of his assistant coaches, Joe Cullen, gets pulled over twice in one week -- once for DUI (driving under the influence), and once for DUE (driving with unit exposed).
I can't believe the Lions didn't give him the boot so fast he wouldn't have even sobered up yet.

                      • The average person looses .01 BAP an hour.

In also fairly certian that it took over an hour from the moment of arrest till the blood draw.

                        • If the cops know that, why would they have a procedure involving a 1hr wait???

                          • Because it's the only option they had if they wanted to charge him? He is allowed to refuse a breathalyser if he wishes to (don't recall if one was offered or used) and that's not as accurate anyhow (and i'm not sure if it's allowed in all jurisdictions as positive proof of guilt).

                            • A PBT (Preliminary Breath Test) can be requested by the arresting officer at the scene (if they have one available) and is used as one of the tools to determine if they were to move on to the intoxilizer (this is the more accurate macking that is at the station and is the one that can be used for a OWI charge). A subject can refuse to blow, but then the arresting officer can take the subject to the hospital (where the subject willbe chaged for an ER visit) for a forced blood draw. A blood draw is the most accurate, but can take a long time to get (cause it will depend on how bust the ER is). This is most likely what happened. Tank refused to blow (probably for both the PBT and the Intoxilizer) but there was sufficent evidence for OWI probable cause (failed field sobriety, erratic driving or some of the common indiactors for intoxication).

                              • Bears sign Olsen to five-year contract

The Chicago Bears signed first-round TE Greg Olsen to a five-year contract today. The University of Miami product is expected to be a solid fantasy tight end once he develops. However, he’ll start out behind the well-rounded Desmond Clark on the depth chart.
...and he's a Rosenhaus client. The first of the first- and second-rounders to sign. Nice that this guy will be in camp. Bears have only their 2nd rounder left to sign.
