Yeesh. What appalling matches from NZ and SA. At least I can feel confident NZ has been shining in all but the Oz and Sri Lanka matches, only falling at the tail end of the WC, whereas SA has hardly been in decent shape for this entire tournament, scraping into the semis. And the ranking system is definitely deceptive. Due to that match inconsistency, NZ is probably where they should be, but SA should in no way be 2nd to Oz by only a few points - they have really done nothing to deserve that, and scraping into the semis in bottom position with major upsets early in the tournament is in no way where a number 2 ranked team should be.

Regardless, we have an Oz vs Sri Lanka final. You gotta hope its a contest at least, and I am REALLY hoping SL win. Now there's a team (aside from Oz) that's been performing this WC. An Oz steamroll three times in a row is just getting silly. If only this were pro wrestling where you could boo long enough to have the organisers rethink an opponent winning so easily so often for so long.

And NZ haven't been shining at all. Three major wins - England ( ), West Indies ( ) and SA.

The first two do nothing to mark out you out from the pack. Everybody beat those two duds.
