MLB:
Most of the stuff Imran said, although I will confess to liking the DH. I know the arguments for doing away with it, and I get it... but it's downright painful to watch pitchers "hit." With all due respect to Dontrelle Willis, I don't really want to see more of that.
More revenue sharing, for sure. Salary cap I'm still not sure about... perhaps in conjunction with a floor of some kind, although that's not exactly a perfect solution either.
International draft: something needs to be done here. As things currently stand, the Yanks, Sox, Mets, Dodgers, etc have big advantages when it comes to signing international talent.
Limit the number of pitching changes per inning. Dunno what to do in case of injury, though. If there is a loophole for that, you will get fakery. Anyway, I'd like to limit/dispose of the "LOOGY."
Bigger strikezone. You know, like the one that's in the rule book.
More leeway regarding pitching inside. Hitters can still wear their protective gear, but if they freak out b/c they got hit by a pitch that was 2 inches inside, to hell with them. Take your base, calmly, or take a hike.
Limit the number of times a batter can call timeout and leave the batter's box during an AB. Not sure what the limit should be, but surely there is a reasonable number one could choose. One could call this the "Bernie Williams rule."
