    Well, no surprises here - Federer pwns Gonzalez in straight sets for his tenth Grand Slam singles tiltle. He's also the first since Ken Rosewall in 1972 to do take the Aussie without losing a set.

    The field might as well go home.

      Started well enough but it was all over after Federer won the tie-breaker in the first set.

      The only entertaining moment after that was the cheesy Aussie presenter kissing Federer's arse, or Gonzalez thanking the sponsers for his nice cheque.

        It's funny... watching the first set it really looked like it was going to be a battle royal... and then, when it's over, I notice it's a straight set win.

        Gonzalez played wonderfully, at least in the first set, and it didn't change anything. That was a great set, though. I didn't see much of the 2nd and 3rd sets.
