Yes, we are far apart now because I don't like what you're doing and I do know that most Asian countries have a marriage arrangement fee (call it a finder's fee) especially if the marriage involves a foreigner who can get the family the green cards they so desperately want. The PI is especially bad about that as I should know growing up in a Navy town with a large PI population.

I can give Lancer this... Most of these poor girls are really nothing more then peasants with little to no education, they have no guile in them, and are very naive. Yes, some ****bags do prey on that though the truly desperate hookers become she tigers over night willing to prey on anyone dumb enough to fall into their trap. I don't think Aeson is a ****bag though so Lancer should just be happy that they are happy even if he doesn't make his finder's fee.

Yes, I said, most of these poor uneducated girls are naive without guile and some ****bags do prey on that. Jesus, I throw you a bone and you still don't know what to do with it. I was even helping you there albeit while pointing out that some of them become predators in their own right. The odds are good that the girl in question is just some poor dumb peasant girl in which case Aeson should make a good match as he's always been a painfully nice guy (too nice) but that doesn't change the fact that he should protect himself just in case. The predator foreign girl will always push for the green card while the nice and honest girl will be happy with a loving marriage so they really should try out marriage there first. If she thinks there is a possibility Aeson is a dirt bag then use birth control. As I said, everyone always has to look out for #1.

A smart person would play the long game knowing that eventually an American would tire of living in the 3rd world or at least run out of money (since virtually nothing can be made there) and so have to go back to the big PX to make cash. Eventually Lancer will make his finders fee but every time he rocks the boat that becomes less likely so he should shut up, tell her not to get pregnant, and then move on hoping for the best. That way everyone has looked out for #1 and no one has hurt feelings.

Well then, come see for yourself. I'm pretty sure the family would not put up with having you in the house but you could stay nearby at a good but inexpensive motel. Or I could try to get you in, just so you can see what's up. I admit that having someone, an old friend even, who wished me dead in the other thread sleeping in the house is a bit creepy to me, but still...
