This always sounds wrong to me. I know in Latin you'd use the nominative on both sides of esse. For example, Mei dickus est magnus, as opposed to Mei dickus est magnum. It would make some sense that the pedantic ****** who invented the rules for English would carry over the same rule.

My problem is that it sounds terrible. Also you wind up with a bunch of people who say crap like, "This is a picture of my friend and I," because they are taught by retarded teachers to always use the nominative. Also, this is a comparative clause, which makes me think that it should be the accusative "me."

Maybe I'm reading waaaaay too into this, and Kuci is just being super clever and making a statement about the people who always make that mistake.

Quite frankly, I think it's unfair to criticize Lancer.

So he pimps his in-laws. I'd do the same thing, if I thought I could make a buck at it.

So he targets lonely and pathetic losers online. That's called knowing your market.

So he's operating an exploitative plantation in the Philippines. I'd personally start my own plantation in Haiti, and rely on my mastery of fire to awe and overcome the locals. Maybe I'd back it by predicting eclipses and telling them that I'm a powerful witch doctor who makes the sun disappear. I'd definitely back it up with a bunch of guns and ****. Point is, I don't hate on people who choose a different path to super-villainy.
