We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine...
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

Of coiurse, in referring to the 'yellow submarine', I make a deeper point about the depths to which man can sink.

Yes, we're going to start a civil war over universal health care. It all seems so obvious now that someone else said it.

Another civil war would be sweet. I've been hankering to build a mortar battery against those Virginians for some time now.
          John Brown did nothing wrong.

The bananist idolatry is dead. Now be a good polytubbie and embrace the one true religion.

Also think of the video game industry! No more WW2 games!

                    Less silly than slavery?

This reminds me what is it with Americans and universal healthcare? I've hearda dozen explanations for this but I still don't get how they think about this.

I'm not sure how "we" think as a whole (it's not like we really agree on any statement more controversial than "that Osama bin Laden sure is a douche"), but I personally think it'd be a swell idea if we actually paid for it. But since I'm all but certain that, if Obamacare passes, it'll be without the tax hikes or cuts to other spending necessary to make it actually feasible in terms of a balanced budget, I'm against it. We're gonna be the next Zimbabwe already at this rate, we don't need to spend any more pretend money.
