I have only two requests:
1. A law for the banning of private donations of any kind for the maintenance, construction, or alteration of any property owned, operated, or managed by the federal government. Congress is supposed to hold the pursestrings. It's high time we made them do their damn job.
2. A law requiring Presidential pardons be individually approved by an act of Congress. That's right. One Act per Pardon.
The above is only indirectly related to Trump. The Office has been too unbalanced, too independent, too powerful, and far too ripe for exploitation. We were just lucky that we had an incompetent demented old man abuse the hell out of the Office before someone younger and smarter did.
