I think that nature/god.whoever has done a nice job with the human organism and messing it up is ill advised.
not judging. anyone do your thing but I'd think twice about messing with the natural biochemical balance of my body/mind.
if it works, don't try to fix it kind of thing.

but some things become apparent through experiecnes through age... it's very difficult to think back and say why diudn't I do it then? because then was then and now is now.
i'm just grateful generally to god/nature that something happened and it clicked on me how nefarious anmd how upsetting and how immiensly stress inducing was to drink....
now my axniety level threashold has been pushed so low things that used to stress me while i was drinking, now barely register,

I basically don't drink because I love myself the next day. for now it'd be cool (and i'm not ever sure about that tbh). but life has also a tomorrow

The issue is that you cannot avoid "messing with the natural biochemical balance", because everything you consume, whether food, drink, meds, or even the gas mix you breathe effect that balance. Vitamin A is necessary for life, but consuming a large amount can kill you.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Good for you buddy. That's the daemon liquor for you, if you abuse it, the only way back is complete abstinence.
