I was totally surprised to learn that Rembrandt's "Man with the Golden Helmet" was actually not painted by him himself (ehh him himself, is that correct???)
Since the 1980s it's thought to be a work of one of his students. The Kraut page sez before it was widely considered one of the Rembrandiest of all more or less Rembrandian works of Rembrandt.
