Smac/x on win 11

Don't know if anyone here still play that game, but if you have the gog version and tries to run it at win 11, then you need this patch : https://github.com/induktio/thinker

There is a Readme that explains what is nessecary. Actually contains bugs that I reported to Scient back i 2009

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I'm in the middle of a Thinker mod game right now. Ai is much better than base SMAC and Thinker.ini has a lot of tweakable settings. Much better (and tougher) than base SMAC(x). Only downside is that I can't just play on cruise control like I normally do when playing against AIs.

Libraries are state sanctioned, so they're technically engaged in privateering. - Felch
