I have long said that it is idiotic to let trump use this conflict to sell us very expensive LNG. We are not the baltics that have no other choice.

I even made a thread about it.

It's nice to see that the gov finally discovered it too. It is in the interest of the greek and european peoples. Funnily enough it is in the interest of the greek shipping industry, I thought those two contradicted eachother.

Anyway trump can't do anything because he was able to attack iran because he had free use of the bases on the eastern med. (which all belong to greece now that turkey dosn't want to play the game, spain is nono meloni is butt hurt etc)

It might not be easily discerned becasue I'm so sophisticated but Greece is by far the best ally of trump's US in europe
