You're just a nationalist windbag Serb. All noise and anecdote, no substance or fact. As I say, a pathetic Russian troll who can only shout.

Russia is going down, all indicators suggest so. You can continue living in your fantasy if you want but in the next iteration of Russia, you're going to be a fossil.

It was the first and only system which embraced all population of the country not just the chosen ones. It took 39 years for you to copy/paste it and establish your fake version of it in 1948.
Yeah, because leaping from the original tenets of communism to socialised healthcare is such a leap. Word from the wise buddy, no one *actually* thinks a pure market economy is a good idea in the civilised world either, especially when considering healthcare or infrastructure that underpins a successful economy. But keep reaching for those Russian successes. I'd have let you have Oganesson

It's certainly not technical hurdles as Serb seems to imply.
“IF”. Banks can have a variety of biometrics. Voiceprints, facial, iris, hand shapes even, etc. To my knowledge my government ID does not include fingerprints or voice. The only fingerprint databases I know I am on are immigration. I’ve never been fingerprinted for any reason by my own country.

“Already have it”. Assuming that is true, why then do they need it again? Worth noting that one big linked up government database may not be a thing. Data can be held at different levels of government with no interconnection (eg state vs federal) or by different branches (immigration vs driving or gun licence)

Consider why the government wants or needs access to the data, and how they will use it (or the meta data).

I don’t disagree with the conclusion that it is perception of privacy rather than actual privacy, but the foundation that there are no actual privacy concerns is shaky.

An acquaintance pointed me towards this video. It's intended to explain Putin's motivation, but I think it also helps to explain the attitudes of our friend, here:

Gotta love that this thread popped up right on the same day Ukraine demonstrated masterclass use of advanced quadcopter technology.
