    Well, actually G maps itself is fine, but the GPS cone is damn hard to see in dark mode

    Sure, I could switch to standard display and/or adjust brightness, but I feel better complaining 'bout it

    My old phone didn't even have dark mode, since the Android version was too old. So the GPS cone was more easily visible. Huzzah.

    Just that it often sent me into the wrong direction when I used G maps for long. Had to reboot to get it right again

    My cone is never pointed the right way anyway. My phone is drunk.

      Oh, if you turn on satellite layer you can see the cone better. But it's brighter. The UI is still dark.

        I've got it set up that forward is up, so no need to distinguish where the cone is pointing at.

            True...but then I walked for 30 mins into the wrong direction last yr abroad, using the older phone back then.
