He’ll do it by adding an ‘-eh’ to the end of them all to make them sound truly Canadian.

They are still counting some close races, but it seems that the Liberals will lead a minority govenment.
While the NDP lost most of their seats, it currently looks like they will continue to have enough seats to prop up the Liberals.
As previously mentioned, the Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre has lost his own seat in Ontario.

Shows that PP was toxic, considering Ontario lurched heavily Conservative in terms of MP numbers. The Conservatives did well in spite of him being leader. What could have been, eh?

Poilievre has convinced a backbench Conservative MP from the Crowfoot riding (in Alberta) to step down. This is a safe Conservative seat (like the one Poilievre lost in a few days ago). According to Canadian law, a by-election must be held within 180 days after the Riding is vacated.
The member of Pariament who stepped down was just re-elected April 28. He has held the riding long enough to collect a full MPs pension for life - he is 35 years old.

Does he have to move to Alberta or are people allowed to run in ridings they don't live in?

He may live in any riding in Canada. However, the Leader of the Opposition has accomidations in Ottawa paid for by the Government of Canada, where PP has lived for three years. As Poilievre is unelected, even though he still leads the CPC, he is homeless.
