I was just strolling down alexandras avenue having drunk a couple of korean soju and feeling abit hungry I said I might just go to the rare spots where mcdonalds are

    then I said no

screw mcdonalds and screw F35's That's pretty much all the exposure Greece has to the US.
The thought to boycot bigmac came as I was thinking about ukranians getting killed because of trump, that piece of sh!t

and if I feel that way, someone who appreiceiates russia for communist ideals, just imagine what other europeans feel. especially northern europeans. they are even more vicious

    muuuuch more vicious

also norway said f u to refueling a US nuclear submarine. (norway is NATO)

expect these things to happen much more often

P.S. we have great fast foods

Can’t buy US alcohol now. Stores here refuse to stock it as of this morning

I read in the news earlier that Doug Ford has blocked any US alcohol sales anyway, and told Starlink to do one

I'd love to know what Musk company sales boycotts are pivotting to. surely some meaningfully more defensible alternative?

I should point out that I am in a position to acquire a brand new car, be that european or japanese but I choose not to because I'm sentimental

That's for americans or any others that judge a person by his ability to make money

I will be going with fiber instead of Starlink, even though it's much less convenient.

That's what I meant, but figure saying LCBO would mean nothing to most people.

I don't know what kind of sad statement it will make if there turn out to be countries where the scale of their boycotts targeting the US in retaliation for US tariffs against that country and in retaliation as well for US cessation of cooperation in helping Ukraine win its war with Russia turn out to be larger than the combined total of the tariffs against their countries (which will be paid by US consumers) along with that country's total grant or gift assistance to ukraine along with the lost interest associated with any loans on generous terms to ukraine. Because really if that turns out to be true anywhere that will be some pretty sad hypocrisy right there. That's not even considering how much per capita the US has given to Ukraine to date compared to how much the countries that the boycotters are pivoting to have given as well as their own countries.

I assume you are implying China. China has benefitted a lot in relative terms, but in started from a low base. In absolute terms the market appears to have mostly gone to VW Group, BMW and Renault

If you are implying fossil fuels. Overall cars sales are down, EV sales are up, so the trend to non-fossil fuel transportation continues
