Americans? No they're all descendants of the Very First Biden, a mythical king who ruled North America during the ice age. Fact. He also invented hot dogs since the ice age was friggin cold

Normally, I do a modified cross between a T.J. Dog and an Arizona style Sonoran style hot dog. I like to get the all beef Costco Polish style hot dogs (their regular award winning all beef extra large hot dogs but spiced up with smoked paprika, garlic, and other spices), wrap it in thick cut bacon, use to the picks to hold the bacon in place, cook it in a cast iron pan with light oil until the bacon is crispy, remove tooth picks, make a pocket in a Mexican bolillo bun (get the extra long kind) but make sure the ends are still connected so you have a pocket so the toppings don't spill out, use Mexican crema with lime juice like you would mayo, extra spicy mustard, put a thin layer of sauerkraut (my personal addition), pico de guy, jalapenos, avocado, refried beans (but not to much), and hot sauce to taste

Picked carrot slices, pickled onions, and tortilla chips with salsa make nice accompaniments. Wash down with a beverage of your choice.

Those are both great options. I just like the flavor profile of Costco's Polish hot dog. They stopped selling them at the food court but you can still buy them in their refrigerator section. I just wish they were offered with natural cases.
