I am sure you'll find the US back with WHO when that better deal comes around. Probably sooner than later.
lol sorry no racism-flavored criticism of WHO is not a cogent argument for stopping research funded by NIH

Spain is apparently a part of BRICS now. Good that trump clarified that, since not even the Spanish were aware.

But Biden was the one with mental issues lol.

Canada as the 51st state would hilariously blow up in Trump's face since it would effectively add another California.

Maybe all countries should be US states. I don't think Trump would have much of a chance in the next elections

Why? The socialist dip **** in Colombia caved in exactly 39 minutes flat. Turns out he will allow his own citizen criminals to be deported back to their own country after all. I imagine those 39 minutes were spent with his lead economic advisors explain to the socialist ******** how their entire national economy would be in depression unless he accepts taking his own criminals back. Yet another win.

In the meantime, with Trump putting a stop to essentially everything the NIH does just because, clinical trials for experimental cancer treatments overseen by the National Cancer Institute can't go forward. Which means there will almost certainly be cancer patients who are going to die because their last hope was denied to them. There are any number of reasons why a clinical trial for an experimental cancer drug might not receive funding, but "Fauci was mean to me on TV" is emphatically not one of them.

I think Trump is going to come out hard against all non-military discretionary federal spending throughout this term in office. Of course the grossly unsustainable level of federal spending is so overwhelmingly composed of entitlement payouts, let alone entitlement payouts+military spending that there would still be large deficits even with total elimination of non-military discretionary spending. And then Trump will probably go to war against the IRS and move forward with new kinds of tax cuts such as the elimination of taxes on tips. The only new revenue will be from tariffs which will be extremely regressive and inflationary. Actions like his EO halting private development of offshore windfarms further demonstrate that he's perfectly happy to increase government regulatory burden when he has a personal axe to grind. As poorly as the economy performed under Biden Trump seems to be trying to arrange to serve it even worse.

The current system is corrupt and captured by special interests so it is unreformable. The best way to fix this problem is to close the corrupt agencies completely, fire the staff to end the culture of corruption, then replace them with new reformed and much more efficient agencies.

Entitlements alone make up more than half the federal budget and set to grow to 65% as the baby boomers all retire. It is going to half to be rationalized and reformed in a substantial way.
