I also watched someplace (I guess youtube algorith wants to piss me off) a little speech by trump (let's lose all pretext that america is a functioning democracy by now) who said that socialism leads to dectaroship. the guy who promotes the unchainied free market jungle wants no free health care guns everywhere and maybe he likes the "other" but I tbhink he doesn't.

he subscribed to socialism ALL the pathologies that plague the US. All of them. And I'm sure noone considers the US socialist. They have the people there so immensly brainwashed is insane. They go completely agaiunst their interests. The rich completely control that "democracy". It's sad.

but there is hope because there are still some thinking people there. But what can they do. They are fighting the borg and it has infected their minds and turn them unable to mount a strong democratic and popular defense. Sad

Greenland is greed for resources as ice melts and they become more accessible (or so he can have a place to send 12 million deportees)

Canada is just to puff chest before negotiating for whatever he he is trying to get in trade deal.

Panama is probably a genuine concern over China (whether or not it is valid or not)

Summer 2026: Border skirmishes escalate and U.S. sends troops in make limited incursions into Quebec and BC. Canada calls on NATO nuclear countries to assist with threat of nuclear deterrence. France and Britain refuse. NATO alliance effectively dead.

Spring 2027: U.S. launches ultimatum of Anschluss or hit war - deadline passes and invasion.

Spring / Summer 2027: China invades Taiwan as US is bogged down in Canadian campaign as individual states mull declaring independence from Trump lead US; Russia invade Ukraine and Baltics as no deterrence left.

Yep, I'd say all of Trump's threats could be possible in the future if he manages to secure the same kind of control as Putin, and why not.

All of those are sound strategic goals for nation becoming an authoritarian dictatorship that also happens to be the foremost military power on the world - especially when the climate breakdown truly takes hold and much of the US becomes uninhabitable.... I don't think the US will be waiting for Canadian permission to resettle tens of millions of members of its population...
