you're both saying innocent or 100% guilty but I don't see grounds for that anywhere. The guy may well be innocent of that crime since evidence suggests at least one other unknown man at the seen and nothing physically tied Williams himself to the crime scene. I'm not entirely sure that this earns him "innocent man" status however. The guy had a long violent rap sheet. No question though that he should *not* have been executed since in my strongly held opinion we must demand the highest standard of proof for this irrevocable punishment. When the crime was committed it was already understood that there were many stronger corroborating forensic evidence tools than what was relied upon for the conviction and it was ridiculous to regard the evidence as even notably strong let alone the highest standard of proof feasible. If people will be executed in such cases it would surely be better to have no death penalty at all.

The thing that really gets me is the crap fake propaganda groups like "The Innocence Project" are saying literally are just factually untrue lies. Yet it seems otherwise intelligent people want to believe lies without even bothering to look at the actual evidence.

It is sad, really. So many people want to cheer for a team and stick to a narrative and they no longer even care what the actual evidence or truth of matter is.
