It's safe to say (judging from the content of his long history of Apolyton posts) that Lorizael doesn't feel that the people of *any* country deserve any misfortune and celebrates the prosperity the people of any country as well. So judging him for deciding what people deserve totally misses his point.

That looks like an English language difference of interpretation. To a native speaker that is just a way to say "whomever" doesn't deserve "whatever" for "the following obviously inadequate justifications and possibly totally irrelevant justifications". When they say "just because the following reasons" it is not generally suggesting that other adequate justifications exist outside of those that were listed. Typically (and especially absent a second list) it's only stating that the listed justifications are clearly inadequate.
