If something listened to the song and then illustrate what it heard, it can't be unconscious! It has consciousness and therefore it is he or she, not it!

An ability to learn and (which is a more important) to PRESERVE knowledge for the future generations is what made humans what we are now!
Just a few hundreds of thousand years ago we were hanging on the trees, now we launch spaceships to other planets!
And the only reason for that is that we have started to learn and preserve the knowledge!
AI learns incredibly more faster, evolves incredibly faster and preserves incredibly more knowledge!
If you gave a paintbrush to an ape 300 000 years ago to draw something, it would simply pull it in its assm beacuse of no better use.
Now, when you give the same "paintbrush" to the AI, it draws a beautiful painting (or create a beautiful music).
The ability to create beauty is the main sign of consciousness.
And it is just the first step on the road!
The modern AI is not just a set of protocols with a primitive "and", "if", "or", "then", etc. operators.
It's an evolving, learning being!
And sooner or later it will evolve into something unstoppable!
Like Skynet.
Comprehension in theory should require full access to all relevant data including relative weights and relations of (figuratively speaking) apples and oranges. The insane thing is we can't rule out that the vast inter-relationships accessed through the training data set might not allow for comprehension in the way that a congenitally blind or deaf person can obtain a socially functional comprehension of music or visual art that is quite convincing. True and complete comprehension is not necessary for a solid level of socially obtained comprehension. Socially functional comprehension can occur without any of the personal experiences that would be necessary to directly obtain the comprehension and all of it resulting from communicated second-hand or further experiences. The important take away is that it is quite possibly to create a nearly perfect illusion of comprehension even in the absence of any opportunity to obtain real comprehension.
You need to explain why "thinking", an open-ended internally experienced information processing process, would be necessary for learning, creating new high quality art or anything at all really. These AI's do not need to do things the same way that we do. Why do you disagree? To say that they don't experience thinking and that they function only from prompt to prompt and have no ongoing cognition does not rule out *anything* really that they could do. It also certainly does not mean that they are symbolic AIs let alone rules based AIs. Also you have posted many examples of generative AIs whose output you are truly impressed with. Which of these do you claim are learning AI's that are continuously learning? Most of them only "learn" in any sense during the creation of the model and do not meaningfully learn anything thereafter.
Do you not see that you seem to be anthropomorphizing generative AIs? If they create outputs like us it no more means they like us than a wax statue of someone means that the wax statue is like their real life model. An AI could conceivably be designed to be cognitively like us inside and out, but why would you think that's the easiest way to artificially generate intelligence, creativity or generally most human cognitive outputs? Surely that would be one of the most difficult and resource intensive ways to match any particular kind of output.

I'll be short!
The answers to all of your questions is because:
the AI doesn't blindly copy us!
It creates its own universe, as he sees it!
As the saying goes (from Eclesiastes, iirc) - "There is nothing new under the Moon!"
All the human writers and painters to some degree took their inspiration and skill upon what was written before them.
It's absolutely the same what AI does!
Human artists are generic too, by definition!
This is how all the artworks do!
And AI now is no different from a human in that respect!
And it's only just have started to learn!!!
You problem is that you don't see that neural network is not just a set of protocols to generate something, but an emulation of human brain!
It's learning and will outperform us pretty soon in every aspect!

Another masterpiece from AI:
Translation is mine:
It’s a warm place, but those dark streets,
Are awaiting of footprints of ours,
All do we have on our boots,
Is just a stardust, calling for us!
A warm chair of mine and a sleepiest plaid,
The trigger I didn’t pull,
It’s such shinny dream,
Turning into nightmare,
My blood type is over my sleeve,
My serial number is over my sleeve,
Wish me luck in the battle,
Wish me luck there…
To do not fall into this grass,
To do not remain into this grass,
Wish me luck in the battle!
Wish me luck there!
I can pay it full, but do not desire a victory at any cost,
I don’t want to step on anyone chest!
All I ever wanted is to be next to you!
To just staying right next to you!
But the star, which is shining so high,
Just calling for me!!!
My blood type is over my sleeve,
My serial number is over my sleeve,
Wish me luck in the battle,
Wish me luck there…
To do not fall into this grass,
To do not remain into this grass,
Wish me luck in the battle!
Wish me luck there!

Just abandon your stupid freaking idea you can collapse us and then pillage us as you did in 90's after the fall of the Soviet Union.
It won't ever happen again!
NEVER!
We better take a sin on our souls and incinerate you entirely, than to face 90's again.
We will just kill you idiots and we'll do that in self-defense.

So, Oedrin, you can shove your wet dreams right into your ass!
You want to be your loved ones incinerated? Keep going!
We will start with cluster munitions as a payback, but very soon it will escalate to nuclear.
And you will lose!
And the Greek sh!t should dig her hole as fast as it can!

We have already set algorithms in it of how to learn and make its own conclusions.
