"Journalists" criticized Carlson for showing what life is like in Russia
or showing our sanctions failed
I don't think they criticized him, as much as laugh at the fact he's clearly never been to a supermarket (or is a hammy actor) and has forgotten that Grand Central Station or Union Station DC exist.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.
Also, on the sanctions side. Sanctions are obviously not working, which is why they have to rely on North Korean military surplus. But you won't get insight to war munitions by looking at consumer day to day life, which is more removed from sanctions.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead
Must be nice having ring routes on your subway. Though I don't use the subway because A) I don't go to those places and B) it sometimes (rarely) catches on fire.
The imperial capital glistens with the labor extracted from the colonies. Putin definitely does his best to keep the Russian empire alive, the Romanovs would be proud.
1) It's pretty much the same everywhere in Russia, you moron!!! Do you want me to post video of foreigners proving that?
2) Why the "beacon of freedom" (USA) can't do at least something like this and their metro, supermarkets and streets looks like sh!t in comparison?
3) Why the streets of European capitals are full of drug addicts, homeless people, rats, bedbugs and huge piles of sh!t? We don't have either of that on our streets.

North Korea did supply all that ammo only in exchange for subway technology.

You can't compare sheer numbers, silly. There is purchasing for parity for to compare different countries!
That is the basics of Economics.
Just, how much do you pay for your apartment?
I own an apartment about 80m2 in the downtown of my 1 million+ city and pay 50$ for everything: gas, heating, cold and warm water, electricity, Internet, cumulative payments for a building repair, communal services like payments to people who clean the yard, whash the floors inside building, take away garbage, etc.
Altogether it is about 50 USD on average.
How much a hamburger from McDonalds costs in Europe or USA?
In my city it's 1,5 USD.
And the same is for everything.
A pack of 10 eggs worth about 1 USD (for dummies- it's 10 cents per egg) and so on!
Everything is much cheaper and healthier in Russia and of better quality (at least, when it comes to food for sure - we have GMO banned on legislation level).
The number of homeless people in Russia is unbelivable for a Euros or Americans (that is why we don't have homeless people on our streets or in the subway).
