  • Musk goes Mulder

...and reopens the X-files or something. Or Musk thinks he's an X-Man

Seriously "X" instead of Twitter/Tweeting??? Brilliant idea.

"I was X-ing lotsa stuff today"

    "I received an X"

"I read all the recent X-es from this person"

None of which sounds particularly great IMO

But the good news is that Musk was able to split that multi-billion dollar loss with his good friends, the Saudis and Wall Street banks.

I understand he's still on the hook for about half a billion $$ in severance pay to staff he's fired. Twitter/X also owes a lot of other people considerable cash and are refusing to pay. That includes things like rent for their HQ. (Really? For $44 billion, you RENT??)

Renting means your capital is not tied up in Real Estate and could be used for other things like hiring people and expanding your data centers. If Twitter had owned their HQ, Musk would have sold it to raise cash and pay off debt.

Just being snarky. But then again, he has engineered a 50% drop in advertising (which could easily get worse), is scheduled to pay $1.5B annually on the $13B in debt that he purchased, and whines about his "negative cash flow" like it's someone else's fault. Plus, he sold off billions in (presumably personally held) Tesla stock to make it happen.
