But is it fraud? Seems commonplace. Who lost money? Loans were made and paid off. The people making the loans evaluated the worth of Trump's property when negotiating the terms. This isn't about Trump, this is a political prosecution selectively targeting him. Its like a traffic cop watching a convoy of cars all moving at the same speed and pulling over the car with a MAGA sticker... or the black motorist.

Is it Letitia James who prosecuted Trump out in NYC? She campaigned on nailing Trump, she was leading "lock him up" chants at her rallies along with "too male, too pale, too stale" - sexism and racism from NY's top prosecutor. Then she lied about campaigning to get him.

Meanwhile my state has passed veto proof legislation requiring porn sites to verify age. Apparently a court has already ruled it legal in a few other states but this is a far step from looking at a stranger's face at a counter to know they're old enough to buy a Playboy. Identity theft and blackmail will increase and I'm not sure how the higher courts will deal with the free speech issue or interstate commerce clause giving Congress that power. It was Congress that had to allow the states to collect taxes for internet sales that gave Amazon such an advantage.

Trump was fined close to $1/2 billion for over-stating property values. My local government over-states the value of my property by ~25% every year for taxes.

New York Criminal law, for example s190.60:

A person is guilty of a scheme to defraud in the second degree when he engages in a scheme constituting a systematic ongoing course of conduct with intent to defraud more than one person or to obtain property from more than one person by false or fraudulent pretenses, representations or promises, and so obtains property from one or more of such persons

You don't tend to win civil fraud disputes if the respondent/defendant did not breach fraud laws, based on clear and convincing evidence

Well, we know she likes to sleep with billionaires -- married and had a kid with Sergei Brin, then had an affair with Elon Musk, causing her divorce.
So hey, maybe this will revive Kennedy's fundraising.

It's worth noting that the maga crowd believes all of Trump lies and spreads them on social media.

I do remember some news outlets wouldn't publish the Steele dossier until after others pushed it into the news cycle

Wouldn't you expect him to be the very last person to know why NATO would do anything? It's not like he would have had any relevant connections Berz. Does he claim Ghaddafi received some sort of NATO ultimatum demanding that they abandon promoting an African gold standard?

the ship started out on what looked like a decent course but the power went out and it came on and went out again as the ship turned toward the support. The power came on shortly before impact and the ship appeared to turn away but it was too late
