Got a new credit card couple'o weeks ago. It works fine in shops or whereever you need to have it present, if only for contactless pay, but online it's a FRIGGIN HORROR STORY!!!
"Fun" encounters include:
"Your country code doesn't match" WTF?? Yes, I'm in the country where the card was issued, NO I'm not behind VPN or somesuch.
(Support) OMG your card doesn't work in our Win desktop environment, can you dl our android app to try on your smartphone? (Yes, I finally did when it was something I really wanted, and it worked) BUT WHY THE HELL DO I HAVE TO GO THRU THAT???
My prev card from the same bank, same card provider always worked perfectly BTW. I blame Skynet
(Maybe it isn't the card's fault, but it feels good to blame something )
