we al lknow that the best cuisine int he world is the mideteranean, actually that pretyt much sums it up for everything. the center of the world.


coming back to cuisine it is the pinacle of human gastronomy the healthiest tastiest. from the bottom half of italian to the top part of the greek, the med cuisine is the best

It can be very good. Lately I have been enjoying Burmese food. Like geography would lead you to believe it is a cross between Indian and Thai with a bit of Chinese thrown in. It is not as refined as better known national cuisines in the area but still something unique.

Have you tried Desi Chinese food? It is an Indian-Chinese fusion food which was invented in the 19th century when Chinese people moved to India. In the US the area around Calixico and the city of Mexicali in Northern Mexico has a unique Mexican-Chinese cuisine as well.

You're right paiktis, Turkish food is fantastic

I was in China for a few weeks with work and it is easily to make mistakes there. I remember at one breakfast there I saw something looking like small bits of chicken in a sauce, looked nice, might be something like sweet and sour. Sat down and took one mouthful and almost spat it all over my colleagues...it was all gristle and cartilage and was inedible. China is definitely my least favourite cuisines I have had in a country.

On the other hand Mexican (not that tex mex crap), Thai, Brazilian, Turkish food is absolutely superb of the countries I've worked in. Italian is somewhere behind those. And I really like German food too. Actually it's really hard to choose, except Chinese :laughing:

I don't think that fusion the way dinner says is anything special. you mix sht and think you make something. I like genuine national food. not sht
