I've always thought Trump was slimy and thats mostly why I didn't vote for him, but my view in 2015 changed in early 2018 after I found out Russiagate was a scam. I thought Trump was compromised by Putin, that was just Dems red baiting him. I agree DeSantis is far more palatable to the electorate and Trump risks another big turnout against him. I dont have a read yet on DeSantis' foreign policy, he was a cofounder of the Freedom Caucus so I'd expect some restraint.

DeSantis would probably bring the MAGA crowd to his side if he wins the primaries and would be much easier for the mainstream to support. I think Biden-DeSantis ends up being a DeSantis win...and fairly easily.
