    I have some great bifteks for dinner. I suppose in english it is meatballs


    and I said, well there are some turkish words in the greek language even after the purge after we MASSACRED the greatest empire on earth.

    so probbaly biftek is one.

    Let's check it etymologicaly

    nope it's not turkish (which probably means it came from arabic)

    it is from engliesh beefstake that got transported to turkish and through some minor mishap in history it got transfered to greek

    20% of english is greek originated.

    congrats you have at least one engliesh word in greek

    or for example briki


    to make greek coffee you need a briki it is a specialty small baking pot for coffee

    and I said well ok yeah maybe briki comes from turkish

    it doesn't it comes from persian from farsi

    IS ANYTHING TURKISH?

        It's Τραχανά or trahana and I'm pretty sure if I serach it I'll find out where's from

        it probanbly is from greece (but I'm just saying that, I need to search it )
