This isn't about Putin, it's about getting more cooperation from the rest of the world in reigning in him and other top tier powers that go rogue. Instead we realize military response is off the table for such powers and try to use economic pressure with no consensus cooperation from most of the global economy.

This 'playing by rules' will never work, it only creates new problems. But, oh, then we would be no better than NK or Putin... right? So lets just be wrong today and make tomorrow a better place.
It takes broad cooperation to reign in huge global powers. To get that cooperation, the would-be organizers of a response have to show they can be relied on to not engage in the same offences as the target of the response or there is no incentive for others to pay the price of assisting the effort.

Quite honestly, I think at this point the West is doing everything it can (short of military action) to get Russia to fire the first shot. There is a slow escalation to open warfare going on before our eyes. What is acceptable today wrt to military aid to Ukraine would not have been on the table 90 days ago.

The winds of war are blowing across the whole of Europe. Now, in that same vane, the weatherman can be wrong...but the forecast does not look good.

It begs the question though...Is the ONLY way to put down an aggressive military dictator the use of force?

Well, Putin is getting a new 1,340 kilometre-long land border with NATO. Deal is done, will probably take a couple of months to finalize.

There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

It would never have been possible without Russia's help.

The US supported a Nazi coup in Ukraine in 2014 and when eastern Ukrainians didn't go along with it we supported Nazis attacking them. That went on for 8 years and led to this war. We want this war and we dont want Zelensky or any Ukrainians making peace. While Dems were busy punching Nazis they were giving them weapons to kill Ukrainians. We shouldn't be surprised, they were arming Muslim terrorists in Syria at the same time.

Putin was trying to deal with you and your puppet diplomatically during EIGHT YEARS, while you didn't notice how your puppet is killing Russians at Donbass at daily basis.

Now, when our patience for your lies is over you blame us even for 2013, for a bloody coup you have created, sponsored and cheered?
