that's not news.
news is the catapuylting of the UK to the top and germany (and france) traking its place in the deep abyss of pan european dismissal
(except for the short time when Stefan Raab took over our national decision (on who to send) and also coached our artists about PR before and during the ESC)
As for Spain ... well, she clearly got lots of votes due to her Gesamtpaket (Whole Package) (it is a term that Dieter Bohlen usually used in DSDS, when he let (usually female) candidates pass on to the next round, who were weak in singing, but were rather hot looking )
I am sure that the people at BBC are glad that Ukraine won and the UK only got 2nd place ... the highest place you are allowed to get when you don't want to host the ESC yourselfTamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."

Nah come on. germany used to sendt good songs. And get good places.
The bastard child of the whole of europe was lways the UK. which makes its second place so mindblowing (the UK song is what heard did to depp's bed).
Meanwhile I've watched the swpanish song 10 times, I'm gonna have a seizure

It totally justifies the russian invasion.

but IMHO it wasn't all too horrible ... so in my book the little political statement (with putting Ujkraine into winning position) was OK.
But, of course, without the ongoing war, it can be sure that Ukraine would never ever have won.
Here btw. Finland (if you haven't seen it already):

The doubly funny thing is, that Ukraine was at starting position 12 and germany was at starting position 13 ...
so, in a way, the 2 dancers with the german colours announced the next gigTamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."
