the aversion is from the base and I think this war will be over before the election season, depends on how cold it gets this winter. I dont think Putin wants to wait for another summer to end it, but his plans might change the harder we make it.

My guess is that they will have a little maneuver room between 1st and 2nd line of defense and will make limited progress before things slow down again.
They didn't reach our first line of defense since June 4, you brainwashed idiot!!!

Putting Tokmak in range of tube artillery would be a significant advance though. Tokmak is strategically significant in that it controls the east-west rail line and is a surface road hub. Russia loses that and logistics become enormously more difficult for their southern army. Getting it under fire control will start a process of seriously degrading Russia's ability to continue a robust combat regime north of Melitopol.
You can wet dream and directly command your Ukranian puppets, as long as you like!
But you will still suck in reality!

Because you are NOTHING against us!

    A self-PRed clowns!

You call a terror act an excellent news?

WTF are you, if not an Ukraninian terrorist regime supporter?

Just stop for a second and realize that you are supporting an act of terrorism, imbecile!

The U.S. has sent Ukraine $46.6 billion in military aid (this would rank 10th in the world for military budgets). This level of support will start to get politically difficult for either party to continue. (This doesn't consider Europe's contributions)

Part of the overlooked facts here are that the U.S. and Europe are actively working to stand up the Ukrainian defense industry. Zelensky plans for Ukraine to be a major arms exporter after the war.

This is, in some sense, a race to see if that can happen in a significant way prior to political support for the money flow begins to wane. It is clear, however, that at some point unlimited aid has to end simply because it isn't sustainable unless the West moves more to a war footing. THAT would really be politically untenable.

there is obvious republican presidential candidate aversion to further support for Ukraine. Ukraine has to make it work before jan 2025 or the dems have to win the presidency for Ukraine to not be in serious trouble by jan 2025
