I think Ukraine needs to keep their eye on the ball and not bother with "eye for an eye" whenever other uses of assets used or reserved for "eye for an eye" would degrade Russian military capabilities more efficiently. By announcing "eye for an eye" they make that politically more difficult domestically and potentially undermine foreign support for no real gain. Russia leadership and probably even the Russian population will *not* be deterred by "eye for an eye" so they might even be tempted to make *more* targeting of civilian infrastructure of dubious military value to ensure that Ukraine is politically compelled to do the same or look weak.

My plan for victory would include sending out David Hasselhoff and the Scorpions, chanting "Looking for Freeeeedom" and "Wind of Change" 24/7 along the Sov...uhh...Russian bordah. Then everybody can walk home happily without further bloodshed

Russian trolls only thrive when they have a gullible audience, and I'm afraid he got a little bit mauled the last time he tried his nonsense.

OUR media shows the entire thing. YOURS doesn't.

It's sad about that baby. You are right to be upset about that. Just imagine how upset the Ukrainians are about their thousands of killed, injured and stolen children.
Exactly, it is tragic collateral damage. But these are the consequences of starting a war that ends up arriving on your own doorstep. Our Russian friends have to bear in mind that they are the aggressors and Ukraine are going to take steps to apply pressure to make the war more and more popular.

I wonder what Russian media is reporting today? I’m sure all bridges are doing just fine.

    Two damaged, none destroyed!

Like they did it by themselves without any British support and declaration of full readiness of UK military by Starmer is just a coincedence (the fkr finally realized what he done and what kind of concequences there could be for an attack on nuclear triade).

Just like your media will never report that the head of the Russian delegation in Istanbul Mr. Medinsky recived a numerous threats his wife and children will be blown-up like Russian general Kirillov, Russian writer Prilepin and Russian journalists Daria Dugina and Vladlen Tatarsky, who your beloved Ukranian terrorists have killed before in a terror acts.

You could be proud of your Nazi terrorists!

As per usual details are hard or impossible to verify, but it seems to be a thing.

On Sunday, Ukraine’s Security Service carried out a large-scale attack on military airfields across Russia that it claims destroyed more than 40 warplanes. The operation, which reportedly took over a year and a half to plan, is said to have used drones launched from trucks deep inside Russian territory to strike air bases far from the border — including one in Siberia. Russian pro-war military bloggers have described the losses as “a serious blow” to the country’s military aviation. Here’s what we know so far about this massive, coordinated strike on Russia’s air capabilities.

In there are also ref's to Russian sources:

The Russian pro-war Telegram channel Rybar reported that several Tu-95 bombers were destroyed in the attack. “As we’ve said before, Tu-95 and Tu-22 strategic bombers have long been out of production and can’t be replaced. These losses are irrecoverable. This is, without exaggeration, a serious blow to our strategic forces — the result of major intelligence failures and a negligent attitude toward aviation equipment, which, even after repeated attacks, remained parked in open fields without any shelter,” the channel wrote.

The pro-war Telegram channel Fighterbomber, which is close to Russia’s Aerospace Forces, posted: “Today will later be remembered as a dark day for Russia’s long-range aviation. And the day isn’t even over.”
