BTY, doesn't a DDoS attack only effect a single site? I realize that site could be an ISP, but the way I understand it, it would take thousands DDoS attack to create the level of internet silence coming from Russia.

Russia claims Ukraine staged Mariupol hospital bombing
More from Russia's claims about the bombing of a maternity and children's hospital in Mariupol - they are now saying the incident was staged by Ukraine.

Three people - two adults and a girl - were killed and 17 were wounded in the devastating strike.

Speaking on Rossiya 24 news channel, Russian defence ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said "absolutely no missions to hit targets on the ground by Russian aviation in the Mariupol area were carried out".

He then claimed: "The alleged airstrike that took place is a completely orchestrated provocation to maintain anti-Russian excitement among the Western audience."

But earlier today (see our post just before 11:00GMT) Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the hospital was a legitimate military target because it had been "taken over" by Ukrainian radicals and "all the mothers and nurses were chased out of there".


President Volodymyr Zelensky said Lavrov's claim was a lie and called the strike a war crime.

Hmmm....Russia masses close to 200,000 troops on your boarder and you have virtually no chance of stopping them if they choose to invade. What should you do? Start artillery fire into the contested region! Yes! That's the answer!

Serb, have you ever considered that there may be more involved here than you are aware of? Do you really consider that the Russian side of the story is 100% accurate? Do you feel like you have to totally hold the Russian line because we in the west refuse to consider both sides of an issue?

I believe that, even if Serb thinks otherwise, he will be well advised not to post it.

After all, if russian authorities are able to make a connection between Serbs nick here and real life serb,
and he would write anything that contradicted russian state propaganda,
Serb may end behind bars for up to 15 years, for speaking out the truth ehm I mean, "spreading fake news"
