The whole point of recognition was to stop the genocide, which took part for 8 years here.
Russia has offered a peaceful resolution, when most of the Ukranian forces have been encircled and were on the brink of complete extermination in 2014 (known as Minsk agreements). Ukraine has signed them, then those agreements were approved by the UN security Council resolution.
The point of this agreement was to give two breakaway regions a full-scale autonomy, but keep them de-facto and de-jure a part of Ukraine.
Since that moment Ukraine did NOTHING to fulfill this agrement, but instead has bombarded two breakaway regions on a daily basis, killing 14 000 people.

So, we are tired of Ukranian and Western bullsh!t now!

We recognize them as independent states now, will move our forces there, and if a single Russian will die - GOD SAVE THE SOULS OF YOUR PUPPETS!

We will finish them all!

And then, we will come for their masters!
