I will not go to Moscow, probably.
The exchanges with Russia, Belarus, Ukraine were cancelled.
God knows when exchanges with Russia will be restored. I planned 2024, but I'm not even sure if the situation will stabilise by then.
I am disappointed that, Serb, you support what is being done.
It's an obvious agression against a brotherly East Slavic Ruthenian Orthodox nation.
It will not do Russia any good.
It is counter-productive.
It will mobilise Ukrainians against Russia. It will destroy the image of Russia and Putin worldwide.
And if Putin does succeed in conquering Ukraine or toppling the goverment, it will be by sheer use of force,
and against the wishes of Ukrainians.
Conquest --> years of partisant warfare, losses, etc.
Puppet goverment --> will be overthrown quickly without direct Russian help.
This may be either Vietnam or Suez for Russia.
This is horrible, and not doing Russia any good.
It's deeply saddening.
I am glad, however, that some Russians protest against this war, despite the arrests.
I find the all issue surreal. He should have stopped at recognising the two republics, the world would have swallowed that with minor sanctions.
An all-scale invasion of Ukraine - and I'm not even sure he's able to actually conquer it - is something out of a catastrophic movie.
It's deeply saddening.
Also because poor young Russian guys were sent to Ukraine and will now die, or kill, because of Putin mistaking actual politics with Civ2 game.
Civ2, because I was sometimes warmonger in Civ2.
In Civ4, I was the most peaceful civ ever, unless attacked.
