The time to short GME was when it was trading at around $450.

Everyone who shorted over $300 is laughing as are anyone who shorted as the bubble deflated. Some hedge funds will have done very very well out of this thanks to all the volatility.

Closed at 264 Friday. It's making step progression, which is better. More people can make money. The big money will come in more and more.

Last week there was a short attack on it. The media just reported that it was a volatile day. I watched the stock all day. I watched it happen. No one believes it was just a volatile day unless they just heard that.

This stock is definitely moving up, very high.

                    • I still have about 10 shares but have mostly sold again. Not at the high, but still at a good profit.

Not sure if it can do another drop and rocket. I am considering the idea of selling the rest next week.

                      • Not many people investing in it think it's value is around 60. There's a lot of bullish sentiment.

                        • My understanding is
                          1. It was 20 or less because of Shorts pre-January.
                          2. With the changes it's value should increase, reaching 80-120 after a couple of years.
                          3. Due to the Shorts, and associated activity with various financial derivatives, there were technical reasons that in the short term that the stock could 'go to the moon', go up to 300-500 or even more (we have seen it reach 300-500 both back in late January and the last week).
Due to this it is a good long term buy at 40-50, and a good risky short term buy higher than that (getting riskier and not as good as the price goes above 100).

I Think anyone who thinks that it's long term value is more then 50 is a bull, anyone who thinks it is less than 30 is a bear. People who are buying it thinking long term investment at 200 are crazy.

                          • Well anyone that thinks it's value is less than the price is bearish because they should sell this morning.

This has been the best stock out there to buy now for several months now, but only relatively few have recognized that for various reasons. Some think there will be another short squeeze. Some think there will be another gamma squeeze. Others believe that it will be a greater success than even Chewy because of Ryan Cohen and the transition to e-commerce.

I think all of those things are very possible. This whole story is great for the name value. There are still many investors on the sidelines that could join the party as the trend continues. So it's far from overbought.

                            • And it's becoming more popular with retail investors. Other stocks like RKT were hyped up and failed. But many returned to GME because it is perceived as legit and dependable.

The short attack did a lot of damage though because it scared a lot of people. The biggest barrier is fear with this.

There is long term bearish and short term bearish. Long term I definitely believe that GME is worth less than 150. Later this week I think it could go above 300.

That means that I have already sold some late last week and expect to sell more later this week. Because I purchased it for less than the long term expected value, I am also OK with holding some (and have been for a couple of weeks now) to see the short term movements result in a more opportune time to sell. If it turns out that the technical drive up its over and it just drops to it's fundamental value (probably initially dropping under, which is a buying opportunity) then I will be happy holding.
