      Putin, of course.
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

Fun facts that are being ignored:

On September 14, The Atlantic published an interview with Alexander Vindman, who, in July 2019, was the National Security Council’s director for European affairs. A specialist in Russia and Ukraine, Vindman organized a call between Trump and newly elected Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky, and then listened to the conversation. Trump demand for an investigation into the Bidens before he would release badly needed money to Ukraine to enable it to resist Russian incursions so shocked Vindman that he reported it to the chief NSC lawyer John Eisenberg.

Journalist Jeffrey Goldberg asked Vindman if he thought Trump was working for Russia. “President Trump should be considered to be a useful idiot and a fellow traveler, which makes him an unwitting agent of Putin," Vindman said. "They may or may not have dirt on him, but they don’t have to use it. They have more effective and less risky ways to employ him. He has aspirations to be the kind of leader that Putin is, and so he admires him. He likes authoritarian strongmen who act with impunity, without checks and balances. So he’ll try to please Putin.”

Vindman told Goldberg: “In the Army we call this ‘free chicken,’ something you don’t have to work for—it just comes to you. This is what the Russians have in Trump: free chicken.

Vindman was an ally of John Brennan and the neo-cons intent on a cool war with Russia. Of all the people who knew about that call, how many raised a fuss? So what's the problem with the call? Trump wanted the new Ukrainian leader to investigate Ukrainian interference in our election and the relationship between the Biden family and a billion dollar bribe Biden offered Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma.

So the Dems impeached Trump for investigating their 'collusion' with foreign actors trying to influence our election. Sound familiar?

My post was not about the phone call and it was not about impeachment, so stop changing the subject. But it (my post) does point to the MANY points of evidence that show Trump's openness to Russian influence.

John Brennan is a patriotic American, and former head of the freaking CIA. He was also Assistant to the President for Homeland Security between 2009 and 2013 under Bush. Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman is also a trusted US patriot, a Purple Heart veteran of the Iraq War and Director for European Affairs for the National Security Council. Both are experts in their fields and fiercely loyal the the USA.

Facts, per the GOP Senate reports: There was no Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election, and there was no active investigtaion of Burisma at the time the prosecutor was fired - a move actively supported by the entire NATO community due to his ongoing corruption and ties to Russia.

What you present, Berz, are Russian disinformation talking points, with no factual support behind them -- as even Sen. Johnson's "investigation report" admits.
It's sad to see you drinking so deeply of the Trump Kool-Aid, my friend.

Bush wasn't president from '09 to '13 and Brennan lied under oath

I retract "under Bush." But the facts of Trump's easy acceptance of Russian influence and acting in Putin's interest STAND.

The "Ukraine is meddling in the US elections" is the one of the most ridiculous things evar.

You know like between the superpowers US, Russia (mmmkay former, but still dwarfs most other countries in power, despite its relatively weak economy) and China there's Ukraine which can barely survive, but somehow manages to meddle big deal in the US elections -- which is btw the same US Ukraine is looking for to get crucial help and political backup to survive.

That there is all kinds of political dealing and lobbying is one thing, and Ukraine may be involved in this like most other countries on the planet.

But between this and using the KGB playbook, hybrid warfare and a constant propaganda Blitz and whatnot to systematically undermine democracies in Europe and America is a huge diff.

who brought down Manafort in the summer of '16?

Ukrainians who wanted Trump to lose

and then there's the Steele Dossier which actually was Russian disinformation the Democrats fed to Obama's FBI to spy on Trump by framing Carter Page as a traitor.
