2020. Didn't think this was the last year of popularity for the website.

I'm not reporting any news of the company or anything.

Just marking a point in my market analysis.

We have passed PEAK FACEBOOK point.

The service is now in decline.

I do have some early news to report.
You won't see it in papers because nobody is going to be talking to press, ever.

the Chicagoland area is going to experience a period of dezoning as natural landscapes will become a more prominent feature. Expect road networks to look more like this in the suburbs of Cook County.

The younger kids don’t want to be on the same social media platform as their parents and grandparents so that is where the long term decline will come from. Currently they have 2.2 billion accounts out of ~7 billion people so there is a lot of room to grow and they are growing. That said about 10% of those accounts generate around 80%-90% of Facebooks revenue, those are of relatively wealthy people in the 1st world (mostly in North America and Western Europe) so while Facebook keeps growing in the 3rd world advertisers just aren’t as interested in those users as they are wealthier demographics.

Man, absolutely everything is recorded nowadays. Google glasses were met with a lot of backlash years ago, but I can see in the not so distant future becoming the norm and acceptable.

I don't know if you guys remember that Adware Gator that used to run on desktops back in the early 2000s, but that was a huge story that made everyone angry. Now the power of spying is all done on the backend and is 100% voluntary and a trillion times more powerful than back then.

You even have 2 companies - Facebook and Google, dedicated to spyware.

I read Facebook to see what people are up to, but rarely reply. Hate the stupid thing if I'm honest - I don't want to tell it anything but for some strange reason, it seems to think I'm muslim at the moment
