The French, British, and Poles are mentioned as footnotes.
And the Nationalist Chinese are the real unspoken heroes who get zero coverage in anything except as a footnote to a footnote, even though they had been fighting and suffering long before Europe got involved.
Bottom line that it was a huge team effort, no one country could have done it on their own. Without the Allied coalition it would have been a much different story.
