It is nice to see Christian refugees who fled Islamic oppression doing well. I have only eaten there twice but I drive by it fairly regularly as it is near my house. My wife even likes their swawarma.

(Well, his parents were refugees but he was born in the US; their food truck is a family affair.)

No food truck can truly be #1 in the U.S. until winning a highly publicized, highly artificial competition on the Food Network.

      Also: mmm, shawarma...

What makes The Food Network the gatekeeper? Why shouldn't it be customers who rate these sorts of things?

You might want to recalibrate your sarcasm detector, sir.

But I will say that there's no reasonable way to crown a "USA #1" winner when all you're doing is comparing local reviews and star ratings on Yelp or whatever.

It was probably not a great system but it was best out of all yelp reviews nationally.
