  • The taxpayer vs. the people

Is it better to present a specific agenda as something good for "the taxpayer" or as something which "the people" want? "The people" seem to be much more, and esp. if they are voters you want to have them buying into your stuff, but I think "the taxpayer" should not be underestimated.

I mean, at least he pays taxes, and you're never really sure how many of "the people" reaaally do.

I guess selling your stuff as "common good" could work too, but it may sound just too posh.

Doesn't show up in edit post, which is why there's two of them.
