Best movie according to my opinion:
Lost in Translation (2003) with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson
The greatest mix of melancholy, romance and comedy of all times IMHO

While lost in translation was good I saw some experimental french cinema that blew whatever remnants of hollywood still lingered out of their protracted misery.
I don't know what the best movie is but it is most definitely french.Comment

factoid about Monty Python and the Holy Grail, it was partly funded by big fans of Monty Python. Namely Pink Floyd... They used some of their proceeds from Dark Side of the Moon to pay the bill for it. And according to John Cleese, it was not a pleasant experience. They filmed it in cold and rainy Scotland.Comment
