Technically speaking... verbal bullying and shaming and boycotts are all forms of speech, and disallowing them by law would be an affront to free speech. We have freedom of speech, to a large extent, but have to accept that to have that we are not free from consequences or effects of free speech.
The only viable way to stop this is for the state to intervene and limit the speech of the masses, and dictate to private employers who they must employ and what content they must publish on their platforms. That would be far worse than what we have.

In most western countries, there are laws to protect citizens from bullying (Harassment laws) and there are ways to sue for shaming (diffamation laws).
What lunatics want is for the state (government) to legislate instead of the justice system to examine the case.
Keep the decision of what is free speech and what is diffamation or harassment to the tribunals, not to the politicians. The books that the world calls immoral are the books that show the world its own shame. Oscar Wilde.
