  • Rake News Reporting Thread

Many people dont realize you can’t just rake stuff up without other stuff. For example the other day we used rakes to rake up cogon grass that we first cut with a Stihl brush cutter. If we tried to rake it up without cutting it first it wouldn’t have worked at all. So bear that in mind while out in the mountains while raking up your forests. Youll need to do other stuff.

Then instead of just leaving the grass in big burnable piles that would burn later, we loaded it up on tarps and dragged it to our new garden beds, and used it for mulch.

We painted our rakes bright orange so they don’t get lost if laying in the grass. You should shoot for the most unnatural looking color possible.

Raking leaves can make you rich ... at least if you live in a society where leaves have been declared to be monetary units ... like the Golgafrinchancs did when they landed on earth
Tamsin (Lost Girl): "I am the Harbinger of Death. I arrive on winds of blessed air. Air that you no longer deserve."

You can also feed leaves to your worm farm, making black gold for gardeners. But this is outside the scope of the rake thread and we should stick to only rake news here.

I can report there is a shortage of rakes in Bohol. Especially leaf rakes. Most of the people here use wooden rakes that could burn in forest fires. It’s a calamity just waiting to happen.

We imported our own rake heads. Luckily the Philippines has an open borders immigration policy for rake heads. Not so for fungal spores ... which story will need to wait for the shii-Take News Reporting Thread

Is it Insurraketion? Or that one with William Raker?

We use bamboo for the handles on our rakes. This makes them lighter than if using wooden handles. I guess you could say we’re bamboozling the fires if we use them to rake the forests.

At first I thought Trump was daft to bring up raking the forests ... but now I realize he’s actually quite the authority on raking ... muck at least.

Probably often uses a rake to keep the thing on his head from getting out of hand.

I’ve lost 3 kg the last couple days, going to be skinny as a rake if I don’t get better soon. Also since it’s mostly water weight it’s left me dehydrated and susceptible to forest fires.

I dislike raking, mowing, or any activity that actually requires me to physically exert effort.

Forrest isn’t shown to be raking, most likely Gump is a liberal arsonist.
