Why should I get a new computer? I'll get to keep the hdd, the graphics card (which is ok more or less) I just want it to play games like civ 6 dragon age inquisition etc and I want to spend the absolute minimum of money. So why get 16gb when 8 will do the trcik? And furthermore why should I bother? that means re-installing windows etc etc I wqon't do it (just yet) however with black firday coming up the cost could really just evaporate we're talking a new pc with just a fraction of the price. will I stay strong?

32 gig wasn't that much more so I got it. It will probably keep me from buying a new one for a few years more. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

While I have talked about getting a gaming computer, I haven't actually gotten a gaming computer since ~2008 or something.
So I guess the answer is "I don't".

I bought one way past what I actually use it for. (It will do great VR but only use it to play CIV IV)
But it will take a lot longer for it to go obsolete so I was able to justify it.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Your upgrades processor is still relatively slow. More RAM will greatly improve performance.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
